Pet and Animal Portraits
Capturing personality in a painting
How to commission a portrait
Take a good clear photo of your pet. Close up, eye level photos work best, with plenty of detail. Choose your favourite, or send me several and I can advise on which will work best.
Once we have a picture you are happy with, you pay half the cost as a deposit to secure your portrait
Once the portrait is finished, and you are happy with the result, you pay the remainder, and I package it up and send it out to you.
Paintings are done with hard and soft pastels using archival, lightfast pigments.
Pet portraits make a perfect gift.
